The poster is a part of the original illustrations in a children’s book Lumotun maan rauha – Lempeä hyvänyön kirja (The Serenity of an Enchanted Land – The Kind Book of Good-night, not translated into English) by Mirva Soinio. This tale gives us a fabled glimpse into what happens at night in a sleeping powder factory.

Sleeping powder is used by Sandmen when they bring people good and peaceful sleep. Everyone will get just the right amount of powder. Often it is given to us without us even noticing it.
