As an artist, I regard myself as a router. I don’t do drafts; I let come whatever seeks to appear through me. Painting resembles life itself. Once you start, you will never know what’s still to come. Yet you will need to find the courage to go forward.
I’m not religious but rather deeply connected to the Light and higher, benevolent force that are sources of beauty and consolation in my art. My pieces of artwork are sort of ”packed” with good energy that is released when needed to anyone experiencing them.
I find colours very meaningful. As a child I once experienced how colours got lightened: as if there was a light shining from within each colour. For a moment I got to observe heavenly colours that were more than mere colours – as if they were living energy from another frequency. After having such a powerful experience, I want to try to forward even a tiny bit of that brilliance into this world.
The stream of creativity is limitless, and so are the means to express it. Besides painting on silk, I do acrylic paintings on canvas and wood. Sculpting concrete, bronze and wood is dear to my heart.
I was born in Helsinki in 1973, and I have studied art in several places. When it comes to art, though, I believe the most important knowledge can’t be achieved in schools of art but along one’s life. The personal creation process is like a brush that paints one’s soul into the world. Let my art speak kindly for itself.
